In what can be termed as a potential issue for Microsoft in Europe, Dutch regulator DPA has found that Microsoft is remotely collecting data of Windows Home and Windows Pro users. The agency has termed it as a breach of privacy rules.

While Microsoft has made changes in the Windows 10 version 1903 to take care of privacy concerns raised by users the agency has still found Windows collecting some data of users. DPA has forwarded the report to the regulator body in Ireland where Microsoft has an office.

Microsoft, however, reiterated its commitment to protecting the privacy of Windows users and told that they took this as an opportunity to improve.
