HDR support comes to myTube Beta Windows 10 UWP app

myTube Beta has received a new update for Windows 10 and Windows 10 mobile. The latest update version is 3.2.6.0 which brings new features.

In terms of changes, the latest update added HDR support text block to playback section of setting. Check out the full changelog below.

myTube Beta Changelog:

  • Added HDR support text block to playback section of setting.
  • Disabled adaptive video support on 360 videos.
  • (PC and Xbox) New quality options: 720p60HDR, 1080p60 HDR, 1440p60HDR, 2160p60HDR
  • (Xbox) Improved algorithm for deciding when to use VP9 instead of H.264
