New Xbox One preview build is coming to Alpha users with new Install bug fix

Xbox team at Microsoft is going to release a new preview build for ALPHA ring users today. The build will be available for users for download at 6.00 PM PDT today.

This build is not a major one and only fixes a new install bug, unlike last preview build which introduced a new Entertainment feature. The OS version of this build is rs2_release_xbox_1706.170608-1900 .

Check out the fixes below.

• Games & Apps

Fixed an issue where games or apps reported they were currently installing despite having completed installation (this also sometimes prevented users from playing certain titles including Diablo III and Dark Souls III).

Like last preview build, this build contains the same known issues. So make sure that you take a look at it before installing this build.

Known issues

• Audio

When using Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos for headphones, you may hear static in the audio.

• Mixer

• After dismissing the virtual keyboard, attempting to relaunch the virtual keyboard may fail.
• When signing out of the Mixer app and signing in with a new user, the user who launched the app is still displayed.

• Store

When purchasing content from the Store, pressing B to back out of the purchase experience may cause the “Buy” button to disappear from the Store interface.

So get this build navigate to All Settings > System > Updates on your Xbox One.
