Microsoft just pushed first Redstone 2 Windows 10 Insider Build, the Build 14901 to Insiders in Fast Ring. But many are not able to get this build via Windows update even when they are in “Fast Ring” as per their Windows Insider settings. So, here is how you can fix it.
Steps:
- Go to ‘Regedit’ or search for it in Cortana search box
- Click on it and allow when prompted
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability
- Change EnablePreviewBuild value to “1” and you are done
