Microsoft is releasing a new Office Insider (Slow) Build for Office Insiders on Mac.

Version 16.39 (Build 20070502) is live and available for download.

With this update, Microsoft is finally allowing animated GIFs to play in Office.

For Excel users, Microsoft is introducing Sheet View which will allow them to create personalized views while collaborating with others in Excel.

If you are looking for a function to create named variables in new or pre-existing formulas, now there is one – LET function.

PowerPoint users now have the ability to add their own audio to PowerPoint presentations.

How it works

1. Add data labels to a chart.

2. Double-click a data label to open the format pane.

3. Click the Label Options tab in the format pane.

4. Check the box for Use values from cells.

PowerPoint

Add your own audio easily

Quickly add your own audio to PowerPoint presentations. This update makes it easier to record audio and insert it to your slide. The new experience works within a pane. We no longer require you to name your audio file.

Improved security for Outlook accounts
