Office Insiders

Microsoft has pushed a new office insider update for Windows Desktop. The update takes the version of office apps Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to Version 1809 (build 10730.20006). Microsoft has also posted the release notes for all office apps.

Showcase your tables. Insert a table and get recommendations on how to make your slide more impactful. This feature saves you time designing, resizing, and laying out your table and provides new professional styles to better communicate your information.
Getting Started:

  1. Insert a table onto a Title + Content layout slide
  2. Click on the Design Ideas button in the Design tab to get table design ideas
  3. Click on a design idea to apply it to a slide

Scenarios to Try:

Paste a table from Excel, Word, web pages, live Visual Studio Online. etc. into an empty Title + Content layout slide to automatically see design ideas with source formatting.

  • Works best on Title + Content layout slides
  • Only in-box themes supported (no custom themes)

Known Issue:

Very large tables as well as multiple tables aren’t currently supported
