Windows 11 has been officially released on October 5 with a phased roll-out approach. Microsoft has also packed many redesigned Windows apps with the Windows 11 release. And, now one of the most used apps “Notepad” for Windows 11 has leaked in images with a new design.
The images Notepad for Windows 11 were posted by a Microsoft Engineer who deleted them but not before it was posted on Twitter. Here is your first look at the redesigned Notepad app.
What one can quickly notice in the Windows 11 Notepad app is the inclusion of Fluent design and WinUI menu bar. It is also noticeable that two options “Format” and “help” are missing from the top menu. The Notepad settings screenshot reveals the app version to be 11.2110.13.0.
Microsoft may be planning to release the new Notepad app to insiders first for testing and feedback. It is not yet known when that may happen, however.
