We earlier reported about Microsoft planning to launch Windows 10X in March/April 2021. That Microsoft was targeting RTM of Windows 10X in December 2020 was also mentioned.

Now, as per a new report by Zac Bowden it seems Microsoft may be planning to RTM Windows 10X next week itself. This will enable manufacturers to load and test the final release build before final launch in March-April 2021.

Windows 10X launch will see it coming pre-installed on a number of Notebooks and convertibles. Microsoft may market its modern aesthetics and speed.

Windows 10X acceptance by existing Windows users may not be without its challenges. One of the key reasons behind this may be limited feature support of Win32 apps by Windows 10X.
