About three months ago Microsoft launched its latest operating system called Windows 10, however software giant added some great features in Windows 10 like Cortana, but some of the drawbacks in Windows 10 is company’s new browser called Microsoft Edge. The browser comes with some handful features, but it misses extension support.
Now WinBeta reports, that extension support for Microsoft Edge has been delayed and it won’t arrive with Thereshold 2, However extension support for Microsoft Edge is expected to arrive with Windows Redstone in 2016.
Microsoft said the following statement to WinBeta:
“We are bringing support for extensions to Microsoft Edge in a future update. Developers who build extensions for other modern browsers using common Web technologies like JavaScript and HTML, will work with Microsoft Edge with little or no code changes.”
