Microsoft has updated Skype Preview on Android with a new feature called ‘Read Receipt’. With the new feature, you can now see who has seen your messages in Skype much like WhatsApp. As of now, the new version 8.26.76 is only available on Android and we expect the update to hit the iOS in the coming days.
Microsoft often criticised for not playing well with Skype. Critics consider Skype as one of the products Microsoft acquired and ruined, the reason being extremely sluggish in the development of the app.
Now that chat messenger is a thing here in 2018, Microsoft just can’t afford to go wrong again. The newly added feature has been there since years on the competitors’ platform and after so many years we finally get to see it on Skype. Anyways, it always better late than never!
