The details about chipset on Microsoft’s Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 have emerged and now you can include this information to base your decision to go for a particular Surface Book or Surface Pro 4 model. It seems that in case of Surface Book there is not much difference between two processors. Only major difference is the clocking speed being higher in case of i7 vs i5 processor. In case of Surface Pro 4 however there may be significant difference between the performance and thing like Battery life between the models.

Coming to GPU while not everything is clear, it is a Maxwell based GPU with GDDR5 memory. It’s an “8M” and has a 1GB GDDR5 frame buffer.
