Microsoft is updating it its View 3D app in the Windows Store for those in the Fast Ring of the Windows Insider Program.
The latest update adds the ability to superimpose 3D objects into the real world, something that could be very exciting when it gets into a creators hand or it could be just for fun purpose after all.
Several 3D models are available, such as the Curiosity Rover, Harajuku girl, elephants and more, as well as objects downloadable via the Remix 3D community.
How to superimpose:
- Open View 3D app and select a 3D model of your choice.
- A button appears that will open the camera/webcam on your device.
- Take a shot and the app will begin placing the 3D model into the picture.
