Microsoft is thinking of introducing a new way of delivering its upcoming major Windows 10 Update codenamed Windows 10 19H2. The 19H2 Update will be rolled out to users on a monthly basis via cumulative updates. And these cumulative update will contain new features that are part of the 19H2 builds. Of course, the update will be rolled out only after Microsoft is done testing it with Insiders.
However, PCs running the Windows 10 May 2019 Update is the only version which will receive the 19H2 feature on a monthly basis, and those running older versions of Windows will have to take the usual route if they plan to update to 19H2, meaning they will have to update it via Windows Update in the month of October or November this year.
…anyone running the May 2019 Update and updating to the new release will have a far faster update experience because the update will install like a monthly update.
Microsoft’s Windows 10 19H2 Update will come with only a few new features and will be focussed on bug fixing and improving the stability of the O.S.
