Windows 10 Skype app updated with touch of Fluent Design.

Project Neon (Fluent Design) is making rounds all around the internet and is the latest visual design treat that Microsoft is working on for to make Windows 10 more appealing. Microsoft will largely focus on UI/UX improvements as per the reports so far.

We have already seen some of the built-in Windows 10 apps embracing Project NEON effects/animation or blur, whatever Microsoft wants to call it.

Now the latest app is Skype which gets the touch of Fluent Design and reveals effects to the left sidebar. The latest update version is 12.10.534.0 which is available for fast ring insiders.

While the change is not the major one but in coming day Microsoft will add the other elements from the Fluent Design system to Skype app.

You can download the updated app from the link given below.

Great Now how about fluent sync of SMS between phone and desktop, how about Fluent loading instead of waiting 10 seconds for the conversation list to load when starting Skype esp on mobile, aren’t those things more important than fluent design junk or emojis for some 12 year old that isn’t coming back to skype anytime soon?
