We last reported about Windows Features experience pack appearing in the Microsoft store and it was believed to be a part of complete Windows Core OS (WCOS) experience. Now, enthusiast Walking Cat has been able to locate the “Windows 10X Features experience pack” in Microsoft store.
Currently the pack can’t be installed for obvious reasons and it seems to be a placeholder for the Windows 10X feature pack. That brings us to the question that is Windows 10X already the first product of Microsoft’s Windows Core OS (WCOS) vision.
Windows Core OS is Microsoft’s new unified OS in works, and is considered to be the future of Windows. It is supposed to power all kind of devices and new form factors.
Now, some recent leaks had revealed that Microsoft may be planning to separate the Windows Core OS and Features experience for various versions of the Windows CoreOS.
