The update may arrive via the cumulative update route and may need an enablement package “KB5027397” to upgrade from version 22H2. The update may have a set of new features including updated File explorer and Emoji 15 support.

Coming to details now, enthusiast account “PhantomOcean3” has revealed details about the Windows 11 Build 22631.1825 (update KB5026440). This gives rise to the speculation that upcoming Windows 11 23H2 update may be a relatively minor update. The 23H2 update belonging to Build 22631.XXXX may need an enablement package KB5027397.

The enthusiast account has also provided details of the velocity feature as “MTestUx15, 42105254”. The velocity Id reveals that Windows 11 version 23H2 update may bring redesigned File explorer, end task added to the Taskbar right click and Emoji 15 support.

This is however speculation at this given point in time and Microsoft may pack more new features or changes in the Windows 11 version 23H2. But if this comes true then probably Microsoft may be planning to bring a big Windows OS upgrade in 2024.
