Microsoft has released Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel.

This feature pack is aimed to improve the reliability of screen snipping experience, especially with apps that deal with the clipboard often.

In addition, Microsoft is temporarily removing the ability to copy and paste a screen snip directly into a folder in File Explorer for now (due to some technical issue) and promised to re-enable this capability in a future update.

How to download

These Windows Feature Experience Pack updates are delivered to Insiders through Windows Update just like builds and cumulative updates are. Insiders in the Beta Channel can go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Please note that in order to receive this update, Insiders in the Beta Channel will need to have 20H2 Build 19042.662 or higher installed. Insiders will need to reboot to enable the above-mentioned improvement and can check their Windows Feature Experience Pack version by going to Settings > System > About.
