In an official announcement made on twitter, Activision has confirmed the launch of Call of Duty : WWII. Call of Duty : WWII returns the series to its iconic roots and is set to bring most brutal conflict series back to World War II after nearly ten years, since the launch of Call of Duty: World at War (developed by Treyarch).

The game is developed by Sledgehammer Games, who previously name the release of 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
