Earlier this week when Microsoft hosted their Windows 10 Devices event, where they revealed slew of device, including new Surface Pro 4 and a new laptop Surface Book.
Today in Taipei, Acer announces two new computers powered by Microsoft new operating system Windows 10, the Aspire R 14 convertible notebook and the Aspire Z3-700 portable all-in-one PC.
Terry Myerson, executive vice president of Microsoft’s Windows and Devices group said: “We worked closely with Acer to help ensure their devices would make the most of Windows 10”
Both of the devices, deliver complete Windows 10 experience, including Cortana, gaming, Microsoft Edge and Skype.
The Aspire R 14 comes with Acer’s Purified Voice digital signal processing technology, which amkes cortana to work even better. Aspire R 14 comes with 14-inch display, powered by a 6th gen Intel Core processor and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
Acer Aspire Z3-700 is lighter, thinner all-in-one PC. It comes with 17.3-inches HD display, 15.6 mm thick and weighs only 2 kg. The PC is powered by Intel Core Skylake and come with up to 8 GB of RAM.
The Acer Aspire R 14 will be available in North America in late October with prices starting at US$699 and in EMEA in late October with prices starting at €799. The Acer Aspire Z3-700 will be available in EMEA by the end of the year starting at €599.
Acer also showed their upcoming smartphone, Liquid Jade Primo comes with a 5.5-inch device powered by Windows 10 Mobile.
