At the CES 2017 in Las Vegas, Asus unveiled a new VR-ready PC running Windows 10 Operating System — ASUS VivoPC X.
The VivoPC X is company’s compact VR-ready PC which packs top of the line specs for smoother gaming performance. The device comes with the latest Intel Kaby Lake Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD for storage.
The graphics load is handled by the NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1060 which will not be a problem for most of the VR games and causual gameplay, as most of the demanding games should run fine.
Connectivity options on the VivoPC X include:
- Two HDMI ports
- Single DisplayPort that support NVIDIA’s G-Sync displays.
- Four USB 3.1 ports
- Two USB 2.0 ports.
The Vivo PC X will be available from March at a price of $799.
