A new update is being rolled out to the Microsoft Edge in the Canary channel.
The update to Microsoft Edge in Canary channel brings the app version 79.0.304.0 to the uses of the canary channel. The update brings back something that was removed from the previous build. With this update, the company has brought back the Tab hover cards to Microsoft Edge for Windows. Another important thing that is brought back is the ‘Tab Groups’ flag which was removed back in July with the latest build of that time.
Another new feature added is the ability to toggle InPrivate mode for third party cookies which can be seen in the above video.
This build of Microsoft Edge Canary (79.0.304.0) also allows us to control whether extensions can modify the NTP or not. The video embedded above shows that.
