Microsoft is working to bring eSIM feature for enabling connected PCs with the Windows 10 Version 1803 or the next release of Windows 10. This has been revealed in slides of official presentations of WinHEC event in China.
Microsoft reveals that both consumer and enterprise eSIM features will be available with the next Windows 10 release. This will enable easy eSIM profile download and activation with attachment to a mobile operator’s plans. Activation will be done through a mobile plans app.
As you can understand from the above slide existing e-SIM enabled Windows 10 devices will gain this capability with Windows 10 Version 1803 update.
