Emulator images of Windows 10X, the Windows 10 OS variant for Dual-Screen Surface devices like Surface Neo, reveal a Modern File explorer that Microsoft is working on. This UWPÂ file explorer looks unfinished and can manage only OneDrive files currently. But now enthusiasts have been able to port it to Windows 10.

And not only it was ported to Windows 10, it was made to even manage the local files and system files with the help of some tweak in “index.main.js file”.

We recently reported about job listings that reveal that Microsoft is working on a new File exlorer that is meant for both Windows 10 and Windows 10X. So, we may be currently looking at the very initial version of that file explorer.
