The Indian citizens residing in Andhra Pradesh now have a direct way to provide suggestions, report problems and speak out frustrations. The Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh government, Mr Chandrababu Naidu has announced the use of Kaizala, Microsoft’s free chat-based productivity app, for Citizen Connect.
The Citizen Connect program will help the officials strengthen the understanding between the government and the citizens. The citizens can directly reach out to the officials through the app in real time, and further support the government in its mission of a more transparent and a citizen-driven participatory governance.
The Kaizala app will be a direct point of contact to reach out to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu where he will be taking feedback as well as suggestions from citizens for better governance. This will enable people across Andhra Pradesh to share their problems related to harvests, climate, pension, ration, water etc. These inputs will further be used to review the workings of that particular department.
Here is how you can reach out to the Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu and other officials:
- Download Kaizala app from the Store.
- Activate the app using your phone number.
- Tap on discover and subscribe to AP CM Connect
- Tap on “Share Feedback” on top panel to provide your feedback on this government.
The Kaizala app has been specifically developed for India only and it is no surprise the Indian government is taking steps to take advantage of the app in reaching out to people in person. Download Kaizala from the App Store and Google Play for free.
