LinkedIn which is now under Microsoft’s canopy is all about creating new opportunities and discover relationships with people that matter. The popular social network platform built for professionals now have the feature where a job seeker will be able to know whether (s)he is a perfect match before sending his/her candidature. The feature might not be a jaw-dropping one as another popular social networking site Tinder which is aimed at consumers, has similar kind of functionality.

”Now, when you view a job on LinkedIn, look toward the right-hand side of the page to find How You Match. You’ll find a checklist of how factors, like your education level, skills, years of experience, and current job title, match with what a company is looking for in a potential new hire based on criteria they share when posting a job on LinkedIn,” the company wrote on a blog. Premium members will be given extra benefit where they will be able to see whether they are in the top percentile of applicants for the job.

In order to take the full advantage of “How You Match” feature you need to:

The company also rolls out “Turn on 1-Tap Apply.” This feature enables any user to save his/her basic information and resume so that (s)he can apply for a job with a single click or tap. The feature is available on both desktop and mobile.
