Microsoft’s built-in platform monitoring service, Azure Monitor hits general availability

Azure Monitor

Microsoft has announced the general availability of Azure Monitor, its built-in platform monitoring service for Azure.

For organizations, Azure Monitoring service gives you all the important monitoring telemetry including platform- and service-level metrics and logs.

Azure monitor comes with REST APIs, Resource Manager templates, PowerShell cmdlets and Azure CLI support, enabling flexibility in how you consume and configure monitoring capabilities.

It also gives you the ability to set alerts to take prompt actions on that data, and entitles you to unlock deeper insights and analytics on top of the telemetry through quick integration with your preferred advanced monitoring solutions.
