Microsoft is always testing some new features and improvements to its most widely used apps across different platforms. Now the company is testing an interesting new feature to the Microsoft Edge browser on PC.
The Redmond giant is testing the ability to pin websites and webpages to the Taskbar of Windows 10 OS. The new feature 8s being tested on the Canary and Development Channel builds of Microsoft Edge browser on Windows and that too is available in the form of controlled roll-out so that it reaches a limited amount of users. Another new option that is being tested is an entry in the context menu that allows you to generate a QR code of the page.
As expected, the feature is in very early stages and users report that it’s not working well. But as always, we expect it to be stable in a few upcoming builds of the Microsoft Edge browser.
