Microsoft has officially announced a major hardware event rightly after the Build 2017 developer conference. This event will take place on May 23 in Shanghai (China) and as per the teaser “Microsoft will show the world what’s next“.
In addition, Panos Panay, Corporate VP of Devices @Microsoft, willingly sent out a tweet which gives us a sneak peak of what to expect from the event.

Microsoft might introduce the Surface Pro 4 refresh, which would likely be called the Surface Pro 5 unless the company has some other plans of naming convention.
In case you missed it, Surface Pro 5 already passed the China Compulsory Certificate back in April, and today’s invite pushes it further for the imminent launch on May 23.
