At Build 2020, Microsoft announced the release of Windows terminal 1.0.
In case you are not aware., Windows Terminal is a new, modern, fast, efficient, powerful, and productive terminal application for users of command-line tools and shells like Command Prompt, PowerShell, and WSL.
Windows Terminal 1.0 brings a wide variety of customization options to enhance users’ experience.
Some of them include multiple tabs, panes, Unicode and UTF-8 character support, etc.

You can download Windows Terminal from the Microsoft Store or from the GitHub releases page. Windows Terminal will have monthly updates, starting in July 2020.
However, if you are interested in testing the latest features of Windows Terminal before anyone else, Microsoft is also launching a preview version of Windows Terminal in the Store.
This beta channel is planned to provide monthly updates, starting in June 2020.
