Microsoft announced their new Office Insider program back inn late 2015. Now the company has released an insider build of the Office 2016 for Windows. The new office build has version number 16.0.6366.2062 . This build doesn’t bring many new & big features but just some bug fixes and performance improvements on board. Microsoft announced this in a blogpost with full detailed changelog & other features that are included in this build. This build will be rolled out in stages . So you need to be patent to get this build in your PC.
This build contains fixes for a number of issues, including these two:
- Word 2016 doesn’t display your document formatting correctly when you edit a document
- Excel 2016 crashes when using Application.OnKey() to intercept key stroke
In order to get this update, you need to go to Office App>File > Account > Update > Update Now.
Yes this is not a big update because doesn’t include any major changes or any new feature but we are quite sure that upcoming builds will come with new features & Microsoft has Made an Officiate Insider program just to make it even better with feedback from users.
