Microsoft has just announced latest sales milestone for Xbox One. After 2 million Xbox One console sales in first 18 days, 3 million Xbox One consoles have been sold by end of 2013. This means that Microsoft has sold 3 million Xbox One consoles in just 38 days.
Together, we ushered in a new era of games and entertainment with Xbox One. Over 3 million Xbox One consoles were sold to consumers in 13 countries before the end of 2013. It’s been incredible to see Xbox One selling at a record-setting pace for Xbox, and we were honored to see Xbox One become the fastest-selling console in the U.S. during our launch month in November.
Even the NPD report has revealed that Xbox One was the fastest selling console in the U.S market. Xbox One sales averaged a volume of more than 101,000 consoles per day, putting the first 9 days sales figure at 909,132 Xbox One units.
Microsoft mentions in its official post that they will be working hard to bring Xbox One to more fans and more markets around the globe. They have also announced a number of games coming to Xbox One in 2014 Including,
“Titanfall,” “Watch_Dogs,” “Project Spark,” “Sunset Overdrive,” “Tom Clancy’s The Division,” “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” “Destiny,” “Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare,” and “The Elder Scrolls Online,” among others.
