Microsoft plans to retire the Control Panel in future Windows 10 Builds

If you are currently using Windows 10, then you might find two different applications for changing system settings, but now Microsoft may soon retire the traditional Control Panel, in favor of touch friendly ‘Settings’ app.

Some Insiders asked about this query on Twitter, Windows Insiders program leader and Senior Program Manager, Brandon LeBlanc said:

We are still unsure, when this change will happen. However we expect that Microsoft may remove the control Panel from future Windows 10 builds.
