A new firmware update is rolling out to users using the Microsoft’s Surface Book. The latest firmware update brings improve system stability and battery reliability.
These updates are usually provided via the Windows Update service and are delivered in stages to Surface customers. So, if the update is not available on your machine now, don’t worry, it should be available in the coming days.

The following updates are available for all Surface Book devices:
- Surface Embedded Controller Firmware (v90.2098.256.0) improves system stability.
- Surface Integration (v1.1.339.1) improves battery reliability.
