Surface Pro (2017) Specs, Features, Gallery and Video:

At the #MicrosoftEvent in Shanghai, Microsoft finally unveiled a new Surface 2-in-1 device for the masses, dubbed as Surface Pro. The Surface Pro features an all-day battery life of up to 13.5 hours which is 50% longer than Surface Pro 4, incredible. It is also 1.7x faster than an Apple iPad Pro.

Pricing and Availability:

Surface Pro is currently up for pre-order at Microsoft Store with the shipments beginning on and around June 15th, 2017. Markets where it is available for pre-order include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Span, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK and the US.

Being the lightest device in its class, Microsoft also has incorporated a new hinge design which lets you effortlessly put the device in three different modes: Laptop Mode, Studio Mode and Tablet Mode. What is interesting here is the Studio Mode, which can put the kickstand on the device as much at a 165-degree angle, just like the Surface Studio, which is certainly a welcome treat for creators.

Surface Pro also has some 80 new built-in custom parts, not found in its predecessors, and the screen size has not changed at all. All those brilliant colors come alive on razor-sharp resolution of the 12.3″ PixelSense™ Display.

Like Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro also comes in three different configuration for you to choose. The Surface Pro m3 and i5 models feature a new fanless cooling system, plus improved hybrid cooling on the i7 model.

Surface Pro 4 color options
Microsoft is also offering Surface Pro in four-different shades with the same Alacantra material built keyboard type cover.
