Microsoft brought the Surface Studio 2 in the early October this year. Along with the sleek desktop computer, the company also announced its first-ever Surface-branded headphone. Both of them are already available for buyers in various countries like the US, UK and soon China as the Microsoft yesterday announced that it had planned to release both of them in the Chinese market.
The company already has a deadline regarding the launch of Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphone in China. The unveiling is all set to take place on January 3 next year. The pricing will also be disclosed at the time unveiling of the two devices.
Inside the Surface Studio 2, you have the 7th Gen Intel Core processor which is certainly not the best in the business but yes it is a lot faster than the previous one. This could be disappointing given that you are paying at least $3499.00 to purchase the base model which is certainly not cheap. Otherwise, you get the 28-inch PixelSense display with a screen resolution of 4500*3000. Microsoft also claims 50 percent faster GPU, you can find NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 memory in the base model, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 memory in the flagship model. You can go up to 2TB of SSD and a 32GB of RAM.
Since Surface is a premium brand it is futile to expect it to be competitive in price segment. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see at what price point it releases the Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphones in China.
