As per a report (via Verge), Microsoft has a special Windows Mixed Reality event on October 3rd in San Francisco.
There is no official confirmation from the company as of yet but as per the details leaked, Microsoft HoloLens co-inventor, Alex Kipman could speak as per the schedule.
As reported earlier, Windows Mixed Reality headsets are made generally available on Oct 17 and it is widely believed that Microsoft will put a lot of focus on the Windows Mixed Reality headsets just ahead of this holiday season.
The Verge also confirmed that Microsoft won’t be announcing the 2nd Gen HoloLens, however, press invites for Oct 3rd event specifically mention that attendees will have the chance to “hear where Microsoft is headed next.”
