If you are using Microsoft Office on your Windows 10 PC then you are already familiar with the Get Office app. Whether you loved it or not it’s time to say goodbye to it as Microsoft is replacing it with a brand new app called Office App which keeps the core idea of its predecessor but atop that the new one offers more control and comes with cool looking office icons.
The company was testing the app with Windows Insiders for quite some time now and it is now available for everyone running Windows 10.
Those unaware, the new app is basically a hub where all your office activities are there and if you are not bothered about Office suit and need it occasionally then this new Office App can be very helpful. If you don’t have Office installed on your PC, the app will display all the free Office apps clicking on which will redirect you to Office online.
In the coming days if connected to the Internet the new app will be installed on your PC or else you can download it from the Microsoft store right now. Bear in mind that not all versions of Office are supported, the oldest office to support the app is Office 2016.
