w81withbingMicrosoft has confirmed some earlier rumors that a “Windows 8.1 version with Bing setup as default search engine” will be made available to vendors for devices having display size of less than 9-inches. This was supposed to be offered at slightly lower cost than normal Windows 8.1. But keeping Microsoft’s prior announcement in regards to making Windows on devices with less than 9-inch display sizes free, it may well be offered as a free OS.

Anyways coming to the news, a screenshot (above) has been leaked, which shows the Windows 8.1 with Bing build in action. Though this screenshot doesn’t reveal much itself, it very well shows that new less expensive Windows 8.1 OS version is alive and kicking.
