All these feature additions and/or design changes are now rolling out to ALL users on Windows 10 PC and Mobile, which previously were tested on Release Preview ring of the Windows Insider Programme, lately. Let’s jump in and see what’s changed.

Skype app - Message reactions Windows 10

Hamburger Menu is Gone! With this update, Microsoft has completely removed the Ham menu where you could browse contacts, bots, send feedback, visit profile and change application settings etc. All of it has been moved to Profile, which is a relief since it makes the app navigation less confusing. According to the Skype team, you can now “start new conversations, see your profile and visit the dial pad from the top of your recent conversations.”

Message reactions: You can now react to received messages with an emoji. Simply tap on a little reaction icon to the right/at the bottom of a message and choose to send. You can select to send multiple emojis, as well.
