Microsoft today brings Skype calling feature on Alexa devices. Interestingly, the feature is currently available only on devices coming from Amazon which means you can take advantage of this only if you have an Amazon Echo device. With that being said, it is still not that clear if other manufacturers those ship devices with Alexa can make use of this integration.
With Skype on Alexa, you can make calls both on landlines and mobile phones up to 150 countries worldwide. Moreover, you also get 200 free minutes with 100 minutes of free calls per month for two months if you link your Skype with Alexa(read terms and conditions).
For set up, you need to first download the Alexa app from Play store or App store. Go to Settings > Communication > Skype to link your accounts. And last but not the list, sign in using the same Microsoft Account you use on Skype.
