Microsoft’s Skype has received a new update to Windows 10 devices. The update is only for Windows Insider with Skip Ahead enabled.The latest update version is 12.1809.207.0 which brings significant improvements.

In terms of changes, the latest update brings the fix for incoming calls, emojis and many more. Check out the full changelog below.

– Improved calling — answer incoming calls directly on Skype, even when the Windows 10 Quiet Hours setting is turned on.

– Find messages in current conversations — use the new search ck filter to find messages in your current conversation faster. (Try Ctrl+Shift+F to get there faster)

– Chat instantly – you no longer need to add friends as contacts. Just search for them on Skype and start chatting.”

With luck, the Release preview ring will see this update by Wednesday, and the Public Release will be the week after.
