Microsoft today made some announcements for the year 2015. How was it for Microsoft & it’s services like Windows & Xbox that has seen some new changes. There were some points on Windows store & how it behaved during the launch & after Windows 10.Making Windows 10 universal was a bold move from Microsoft but now it seems to be a right step in the right direction.
The store has seen a huge growth with no. of unique visits & no. of app downloads.The no. of store visits was more than 3 billion. Some more universal Windows 10 apps are coming like Netflix, NPR, Pandora, Shazam, TuneIn Radio, Twitter, Uber, Wall Street Journal, 1-800-Flowers, and many more. Each day , new development is happening . More & more developers are being attracted towards Windows 10.

The new Windows store has seen,
- 2x increase in the number of paid transactions from PC and tablet customers this holiday season.
- In December alone, 60% of paying customer were new to the Store
- In December, Windows 10 generated more than a 4.5x increase in revenue per device, as compared to Windows 8.
So this is a great achievement for Windows as well as Microsoft. Seems like Microsoft is going in right direction with Windows 10. The only thing they need right now is to focus on Windows 10 Mobile and more & more universal app with Continuum Support.
