Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 (with AMD processor) is receiving the July 2020 Firmware update.
The updates are available for Surface Laptop 3 devices running Windows 10 May 2019Â Update, version 1903, or greater.
With the latest build, Microsoft is improving the external monitor resolution support, system stability and also enabling Surface Dock 2 update.

As always, Surface updates are released in stages and not every Surface will receive the update at the same time, but it’ll be delivered to all devices.
To manually check for updates, head to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and check for updates.
