In last week there have been few important revelations about the upcoming Microsoft’s Surface Mobile/Phone Andromeda device. Let us take a look at these and discuss in comments.

Journal, the note-taking app:

The note-taking app for Foldable devices supported by Andromeda or Windows 10 on ARM with CShell will be called Journal. Mentions of Journal were found in the recently released “Microsoft Whiteboard app”.

Camera Setup and Foldable design patents:

Two patents granted to Microsoft very recently feature a foldable design and camera setup that may be the final device and camera design on the upcoming Surface Mobile/Phone Andromeda device.

Snapdragon 845 to power it:

The Surface Mobile/Phone was supposed to come out in 2018 and powered by ARM processor. Now even before Qualcomm made Snapdragon 845 official we came across a job opening that revealed that Microsoft is working to use Snapdragon 845 in a device. Joining the dots is easy here and it seems Surface Mobile Andromeda device will be powered by Snapdragon 845.
