Business customers using Microsoft Intune reports an issue with Microsoft Word from Intune on iOS. All the iOS customers using Microsoft Intune are unable to install Microsoft Word on their iOS devices. Microsoft though is not silent and acknowledged the issue yesterday. The Redmond giant also clarified that Microsoft Intune is not the only MDM(Mobile Device Management) tool facing the problem, there are others such as IBM MaaS 360 is also facing similar problems.
There is a way to recognize the issue – after you install Microsoft Word on your iOS device you would see a gray color Microsoft Word logo which indicates a failed installation.
Microsoft further clarifies that they looking into the matter and will be working with Apple to resolve the issue as soon as possible. As others MDM also facing the same issue, it looks like the issue is from Apple’s end not from Microsoft.
