Microsoft has today started pushing new cumulative updates for Widows 10 versions 1703 and 1607. KB4049370 (Build 15063.675) and KB4052231 (Build 14393.1797) are now available for those on Windows 10 Creators update and Anniversary update respectively.
The updates don’t bring any new features/changes because of being cumulative updates, but pack lots of fixes and improvements. Check the full changelog below.
KB4049370 (Build 15063.675) Changelog:
This release is intended for Microsoft Surface Laptop audiences only. This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:
- Addressed issue where after installing KB4038788, some Microsoft Surface Laptops boot to a black screen. Additionally, you must press the power button for a long time to recover.
KB4052231 (Build 14393.1797)Â Changelog:
This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:
- Addressed issue where applications based on the Microsoft JET Database Engine (Microsoft Access 2007 and older or non-Microsoft applications) fail when creating or opening Microsoft Excel .xls files. The error message is, “Unexpected error from external database driver (1). (Microsoft JET Database Engine)”.
