Microsoft has already hinted that the Windows 10 update 20H2 will be a minor just like 19H2. The next major update 21H1 or Version 2104 can be a real major update with lots of UI changes and new features coming Windows 10 users way.

Recently Microsoft confirmed the upcoming Windows 10 Start Menu re-design explaining that it will emphasize icons and unifying Start Menu visually in place of Live Tiles. Later Microsoft CPO Panos Panay posted a video on Instagram today celebrating the Windows 10 crossing 1 Billion active installations.

The video teases the upcoming changes to Windows 10 Start Menu, the File Explorer, context-sensitive menus and updated versions of apps like Calendar, Photos, Microsoft Edge and others. Since the changes for the upcoming Windows 10 major feature update 2004 that may arrive in April/May 2020 are already known, these Start menu, File Explorer and context menu changes may arrive in 2021 with the Windows 10 version 2104 or 21H1 update.

Let us have a closer look at these changes in images and video below.
