Windows 10 Settings home gets new “Web browsing” option on top

A new option has now popped on the top of Windows 10 Settings home. The new option of “Web browsing” now exists along with OneDrive and Windows update options on the top of  Settings home.

If you click on this option it pops-up a message that recommends reverting back to Microsoft Edge as the default browser. It also recommends using Microsoft Bing as the default search option.

If you confirm the message it will make Microsoft Edge your default browser and also pin it to start menu and taskbar. It will also make Bing the default search Engine. You can still choose whether to select any or none of the recommendations.

Hopefully, Microsoft will be able to use this option in a more creative and useful manner than recommending Microsoft Edge and Bing to those not using it yet.
