Now some of the Windows 10 users have complained in Microsoft’s official forum about facing various issues after trying to install or after installing updates KB4565503 & KB4565483.

First coming to the Windows 10 version 2004 update KB4565503, users are reporting that it fails to install.

KB4565503 repeatedly downloads, reaches 100%, installs, and then immediately starts downloading and installing again – repeatedly ad infinitum

SFC finds no issues.

DISM finds no issues with the image.

I have reset Windows updates. No difference.

A number of users are reporting that update KB4565503 is causing Outlook start issues.

After installing KB4565503, Outlook won’t start
I just installed the July 2020 update to Windows 10, now Outlook won’t start – it gets through launch to the normal ‘home’ screen where I can see my inboxes, then crashes and says it can’t open the .ost files.  Starting in safe mode has no impact.  Anyone else see this problem?  I don’t see it listed as a known issue on the description for the update (looking here).  Any hints?

One user has also reported about Taskbar search icon and start menu keyboard input issues after installing this update.

Windows 10 2004: Taskbar search icon and start menu keyboard input not working
After installing Windows Update KB4565503, the search icon in taskbar does not respond (clicking on it does nothing) and most importantly the keyboard is not working after clicking on start (to search for apps e.g.), no input is recognized.
Please help!

One user reported about the Black screen issue after installation of the update.

KB4565503 Causing black screen “Generic Non-PnP Monitor was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match”
Just updated to KB4565503 and whatever other update was available earlier today and now the monitor won’t show Windows (just a black screen) outside of Safe Mode. I should have known better after last month when a KB disabled access to my older multi-function printer.

The update KB4565483 for version 1909 is causing Outlook issues, Chrome crashes and fails to install.

KB4565633 Fails to Install Returns Error Code: 0x800f0922
Having an issue installing the latest KB4565633, returns error code: 0x800f0922.

Tried a few things:  None of these below allowed me to sucessfully install the update.

1) Stoped Widdows Update Service and BITS and removed files Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download.  Restarted services and tried in install again.

2) Ran system restore to a restore point from last week.  Tried the reinstall, and same result.

3) Tried install with AV disabled (Bitdefender).

chrome crashing after quality updates to windows 10
My PC updated last night/ early this morning with updates KB4565483 AND KB4565633. Since this morning when I open chrome it stays up for about 15 seconds and crashes.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome but the same thing keeps happening.  I ran the trouble shooting tool and it rolls the setting back to Vista Service Pack 2!

Outlook not working after recent Microsoft update
Had two automatic updates by Microsoft this morning (KB4565633 & KB4565483). After restarting the computer, Outlook will open only in safe mode. The error message I get is “Outlook couldn’t start last time. Safe mode could help you troubleshoot the problem, but some features might not be available in this mode. Do you want to start in safe mode?”
