Microsoft is working to bring “premier Voice Control experience” to its latest operating system Windows 10X. The OS is targeted at Dual-screen devices like Surface Neo.
In a job listing posted on its official carrer page Microsoft reveals that it is a brand-new Assistive Technology (AT) that will leverage cognitive services, voice commands, eye control, natural language understanding and other technologies.
The Accessibility team is growing a Mobility Center of Excellence in IDC with a broad portfolio of applications. We are looking for a proven Engineering Manager with the skills to join our growing team. The first challenge will be building the premier Voice Control experience. This is a brand-new Assistive Technology (AT) on our brand-new OS experience, 10X. Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and leading a team to build this new best in class AT experience.
The Voice Control experience will leverage cognitive services, voice commands, eye control, natural language understanding and other cutting edge technology to fully enable mobility impaired users to enjoy and be productive on the 10X OS.
